How do I connect to the internet?

    Connect your network cable to your computer and the RJ45 port at your room.
  • Open https://ghb.hs-furtwangen.de in your browser.
  • Register yourself and LOGIN. (You only need to register if you don't have an account yet)
  • Create a Host (My Account -> Host -> “Create Host”).
  • “Hostname” is the name of your computer.
  • “MAC” should be preconfigured. (Also check the “I'd like to use my Router here in the GHB.” and “Where is my MAC-Address?”).
  • “Firewall” should be set to “Windows Workstation”.
  • Click on “Submit”.
  • Wait until an Admin accepts your Account. (Only applies for new registrations.)
  • Restart your computer.
